Does anyone out there want to trade the Knicks for Iman Shumpert right now? No, really. Is there aaaaaaanyone at all that wants to do a deal?

Last week, the Knicks reportedly tried to trade Shumpert to the Nuggets in exchange for Kenneth Faried. But Denver turned down their proposed deal. That doesn't mean the Knicks are going to stop trying to deal Shump, though. In fact, according to New York Daily News reporter Frank Isola, the Knicks already have another trade in mind. This one calls for the Knicks to trade Shumpert to the Celtics in exchange for Rajon Rondo. The deal would also call for the Knicks to send Amar'e Stoudemire and Raymond Felton to Boston.

So far, Boston has shown no interest in the deal. And really, why would they? It's clear that they're rebuilding for the future right now and don't necessarily see Rondo as a part of that future. But why in the world would they want to help the Knicks out by trading their best player to them? It wouldn't make much sense. So it sounds like the Knicks will have to try and find a different team to do a deal with. Good luck with that.
