Yesterday was September 11, 2013, the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States. It was a day to remember those who lost their lives and those who worked to save the lives of millions. It was not, however, a day for realistic fire drills at densely populated places. At Logan International Airport in Boston, someone didn't get that memo. The airport conducted a drill with real smoke and flames on a runway on Wednesday morning which obviously caused a panic. The airport tweeted that it was only a drill, but that didn't stop the shitstorm of angry responses on various social media platforms, with one person even pointing out that the first plane to hit the Twin Towers in New York City took off from that airport. Unbelievable.
