The good news: Thanks to special sealers and “damping” in its frame, the Veloster Turbo has, according to Hyundai, the most quiet ride in its segment. We didn’t test drive all of its competitors, but we can verify that the V-T is as tranquil at 90 mph as it is at 20 mph. It also handles exceptionally well, with a revised steering calibration that makes it decidedly less stiff and more responsive than the original, or any Hyundai, for that matter. The bad news: This will cost you speeding tickets for sure.
