Sport (Years Played): Football (1957-1965)
Many people will argue that Jim Brown was the greatest player ever in the NFL. While we're not here to dispute that, we can all agree that Brown left way before his career was actually through. In 1966, at the ripe age of 30, Jim called it quits but unlike many of his predecessors, he remained active in the African-American community by helping build life skills and donating his time towards anti-gang campaigns. Not to mention his role in 100 Rifles where he smashed Raquel Welch in the first interracial scene in a major film. Legend in two games, no Pee Wee Kirkland.
