Over the last few years the cycling industry has seen some major advances in the mountain bike market. These advances have brought with them a demand for more trails from cyclists who want to put their bikes to the test through the wilderness. As a result, illegal bike trails have begun to pop up all over the west coast. Filmmaker Jamie Howell's Pedal Driven: a bikeumentary explores the worlds of these cyclists, the land managers whose land they ride illegally, and the attempts to enforce the laws that would keep cyclists off the illegal trails.
