We already know that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is a big fan of Justin Bieber. But, did you know that the Biebs is a big supporter of Money May, too? In fact, the way he sees it, he and Mayweather are a lot alike—ya know, without the domestic violence charges and jail time, of course. And, during a recent interview with V magazine for their February 2012 cover story, Bieber even went as far as comparing himself and his career to the life and career of the infamous boxer.
"Now that I'm on top," the pop singer says in the interview, "everyone wants to bring me down. Everyone's trying to tug at me and take my spot. Like Floyd Mayweather, he's the best boxer in the world. Now he is a champion. Every time he goes to a fight now, people are like, 'He's going to lose this time.'"
Hmmm...We're not sure we can cosign that comparison. People hate on Mayweather for waaaaaaay different reasons than they "hate" on you, Justin. And we're sure Manny Pacquiao would have something to say about your comparison, too. Nice try, though, Biebs.
