One of the most beloved players in baseball (at least while he was actually playing), Puckett had his career cut short by glaucoma when he was only 36, but still managed to pick up 10 All-Star game selections and six Gold Gloves in a 12-year career. He won two World Series with the Twins, hitting one of the greatest home runs in WS history in the process.
