Game: Nebraska Cornhuskers @ Oklahoma Sooners
Date: 11/25/1971

This was the Game of the Century (the fourth such game played between 1966 and 1971, incidentally) and the contest that put Nebraska football on the map. Rodgers diced the Oklahoma punt coverage team on this play, setting the tone for the Cornhuskers signature win. But we have a couple questions: First, why do some Nebraska players have stripes on their jerseys and others don't? Second, did the announcer really say "Man, woman, and child did that put 'em in the aisles"? We quit.
