After Game 3 of the Heat/Celtics playoff series, LeBron James had two words for a reporter who asked Dwyane Wade whether or not the hard hit he put on Rajon Rondo that resulted in him dislocating his elbow was dirty: "That's retarded." And if you can believe it, the media jumped all over him for it! So after the Heat won last night, he was quick to open up his post-game press conference with an apology.
"I want to apologize for using the R word after Game 3," he told reporters. "If I offended anyone, I sincerely apologize." Great. Now, can we move on with our lives, please? [via ESPN]
