Anticipation has been building for the release of the "Blush" Adidas Yeezy 500, formerly known as the Desert Rat. Following rumors of an imminent drop, and its place in a guerrilla marketing campaign for Yeezy Season 6, we now have a release date.
According to Yeezy Mafia, 500 pairs of the "Blush" colorway are set to launch at Adidas' 747 Warehouse Street event during All-Star Weekend in L.A., on Feb. 16. That will be followed by a global launch of the shoe in March.
This builds on the already heavy schedule of releases Adidas has planned for its All-Star event, which includes exclusive colorways of the Bape x Dame 4 and Harden Vol. 2, Futurecraft 4Ds, and a new Pharrell Williams collaboration.
There's no word yet if the purchase will require an additional $560 in merch.
UPDATE 02/13: Along with Adidas' 747 Warehouse Street event, the "Blush" Yeezy 500 will be available at a handful of additional accounts in the L.A. region. Check out the full list of stores stocking this pre-release on Feb. 16.
