JJJJound will soon add Salomon to its long list of collaborators this year with this new sneaker project shown here.
Fresh off of delivering its "Olive" Reebok Club C collab last month, the Montreal-based creative studio has now shared a teaser on Instagram of a forthcoming Salomon XT-Wings 2 collab. The teaser image of the sneaker shows that JJJJound is once again sticking to its subtle design formula, with a clean white-based color scheme that's paired with blue accents. Cobranding appears on the heel counter, with "JJJJound" printed on the medial side and "Salomon" on the lateral portion. Cushioning the underfoot is a Agile Chassis System featured within the EnergyCell midsole, while an All Terrain Contagrip outsole sits below.
As of now, this JJJJound x Salomon XT-Wings 2 collab is expected to release as part of the Montreal brand's 2023 Spring/Summer collection, but a specific launch date has yet to be announced by the brands.
UPDATE (05/26): JJJJound has officially confirmed that its Salomon XT-Wings 2 collab will be released on June 1 at 12 p.m. ET exclusively at JJJJound.com and at select Salomon stockists on June 2.
