After entering the NBA straight out of high school in the 1997 Draft, Tracy McGrady scored his first signature shoe in 2002 with the adidas T-MAC. McGrady wore them on his way to the NBA scoring title for the 2002-03 season while playing for the Orlando Magic. Ten years later comes the first retro T-MAC with its re-release this summer.
In this two page ad we see T-Mac ballin' in the original silver and black colorway. The T-MAC obviously comes from the same design period at adidas as the KOBE, and KOBE 2, but is a significantly less ugly more standard basketball shoe. The T-MAC is somewhat of a futursitic Superstar with its sweeping shell toe, sleek upper, and adidas' Torsion technology.
Those interested in the T-MAC just like the ones you see in this ad can pick them up directly from adidas.com now.
