Another re-created classic runner by Nike Sportswear that's releasing this year is the all new Air Max Tailwind 96-12.
Much to the delight of longtime Nike running collectors, Nike Sportswear reached into their vault and brought back the classic Air Max Tailwind '96. Helping them meet levels of performance expected today, the 2012 version of the Air Max Tailwind '96 features a full-length honeycomb Air bag, replacing the heel Air unit used on the originals.
Keeping things simple for their debut, Nike Sportswear recently released this combination of white, grey and red. White handles most of the base on them, while dark grey takes care of the mesh underlays, tongue, parts of the midsole and outsole sitting down below. Sport red works the Swoosh branding seen throughout, along with the heel pull tab and honeycomb Air bag.
The all new Air Max Tailwind 96-12 is currently making it's way to select Nike Sportswear accounts.
