FW19 is in full swing as Axel Arigato hits us with another banger in the form of the Marathon Runner.
Futuristic vibes are definitely becoming a strong driving force for the aesthetic over at Axel Arigato, as continue to deliver sleek minimalism and a daring, experimental focus on technical design across their new silhouettes. The latest demonstration of these design principles is the Marathon Runner, informed by the 90s and suited for the future. The initial drop sees four colourways built on black and white bases, each of which is hit orange or silver detailing. Further colourways are scheduled to release throughout the year.
In bringing the head-turning silhouette to life, the team connected with Benjamin Breading to shoot an expressive campaign that features self-taught dancer and movement artist Kaner Flex alongside FKA Twigs.
