Update: This Air Force 1 Custom Pays Homage to Virgil Abloh's Off-White Label

UPDATE (6:45 p.m.): We previously reported that these custom Off-White x Nike Air Force 1s were commissioned by Virgil Abloh, but as it turns out, they were actually done by an anonymous fan.

The AF1 lows are accented by Off-White's trademark stripe pattern and eponymous branding, with a blacked out Swoosh. While the sneakers look amazing, there were initial concerns of whether they were a real collaboration or just a commissioned paint job since the only caption on the images read "Off-White x Nike."

But Virgil has since quashed those rumors and said he and his label has no association whatsoever with these sneakers. Now if only the actual sneaker customizer would come forward.
