Influential hardcore band Suicidal Tendencies has been making noise in their scene since the early '80s, and they're about to drop a brand new album and a Converse collab—all on the same day.

Made up of the Converse Chuck 70 in both high-top and low-top forms and a range of matching apparel, the collection draws from the band's signature art style established by early member Ric Clayton.

The Chuck 70 Hi goes heavy on the artwork, covering the shoe's canvas upper in graphic prints and adding a custom leather patch on the lateral side. Meanwhile, the Chuck 70 Low uses the graphics only on the liner, instead opting for a black canvas upper with embroidered logos on the tongue and heel.

"If someone had told me in my teens I'd have a shoe, I'd have said 'no way,'" founding member and frontman Mike Muir said in a press release. "This would totally blow away that 16-year-old kid. That's a great thing."

Set to drop from converse.com and select retailers on Friday, Sept. 7, the Suicidal Tendencies x Converse collab will see an early release from Boston retailer Bodega on Thursday, Sept. 6.
