It's been less than two weeks since we reported on the adidas lawsuit over Skechers' blatant rip-off of the Stan Smith model, but it looks like that's not the only sneaker that will wind up in the courtroom.

Currently in stock on the Skechers website are a variety of boys' "Mega Flex" sneakers which, even from an outsider's perspective, look exactly like the adidas Springblade technology. Everything from the angle of the blades to the material used looks identical to the adidas version, so much so that we can't help but wonder if the parts may have originated from the same factory.

Hang tight, because this story gets even more perplexing. Last summer, adidas found itself in court after wearer's experienced defects with this very technology. With that in mind, why would any brand want to set itself up for the same sort of problems?

At the end of the day, there's inspiration, and then there's downright biting. This is a clear case of the latter, and it's hardly Skechers' first offense. For a brand that seemed to be doing everything right earlier this year, it's been a rough couple of weeks to say the least. We'll update as we learn more, but you can check out both versions below and decide for yourself.
