Hello Kitty has seen its share of footwear collaborations throughout the years—including a very rare set of Nike Air Prestos—but one notable brand it has yet to work with is Converse. That's about to change, though, with a new set of sneakers adorned with the cult brand's graphics.
Spanning the Chuck Taylor All-Star, Chuck 70, and One Star silhouettes, this six-sneaker range combines the Japanese brand's whimsical colors and motifs with some of Converse's most popular models. The Hello Kitty graphics are used in a variety of ways which include the titular character peering over the Chuck Taylor's sidewall and whiskers accenting the One Star's signature cut-out.
The Hello Kitty x Converse collection will be accompanied by matching apparel and accessories with sizes ranging from kids to adult. The full range drops next Thursday, Aug. 16 from converse.com and select stores.
