Concepts has been teasing a Made in Italy sneaker collaboration with Diadora for awhile now, but today we get our first glimpse at what's looking like a very promising effort.
Inspired by the colorful euro banknotes, this collab uses the Diadora N.9000 silhouette as its base. Thus far, we can see hits of vibrant green, blue, and red in buttery suede along with a pre-yellowed heel clip, white midsole, and grey outsole. Although we can't yet see the full thing, this already looks like one of the year's best sneaker collabs.
The currency theme is familiar territory for Concepts, who have previously caught the attention of runner enthusiasts with "Tannery" and "C-Note" New Balance 998 Made in U.S.A. collaborations. Now, the Massachusetts-based sneaker store has jet setted to Italy and we can't wait to see the full reveal.
The Concepts x Diadora N.9000 will release on October 3. Check back soon for more information.
