Nike Roshe collectors might have missed their chance at owning history. A rare pair of the shoe popped up on eBay recently and based on the information from the auction, these Roshes were given as a "Thank You" to attendees of a Nike Tech All-Hands Meeting back on June 11, 2013. From the looks of it, each pair came with a note card from Nike's legendary designer, Tinker Hatfield, applauding the group's work.
The upper features a grid and dot pattern which is similar to what you'd see on a radar screen and the words "Nike Tech" appear embroidered on the back heel of the left shoe. While you don't normally see official boxes with shoes of this nature, these apparently do come with official Nike boxes which state the colorway as being "Game Royal/Varsity Red."
While no other information is available as of yet, its safe to say that these weren't meant for public consumption.
