It's been a little over a year since Ronnie Fieg opened his Kith shops in Brooklyn and Manhattan — he even designed an ASICS GEL-Lyte III to commemorate the occasion — and things are continuing to blow up. The man always has something else brewing, is always off somewhere working on something, but he still found the time to pick out his favorite sneakers of the year. Ronnie says: "My good friends over at Hanon have a serious winner with this colorway. I respect those dudes and I'm happy I was able to get my hands on them, awesome coloway and quality."

Ronnie says: "Have you ever seen beige look this good? I applaud Nonnative for thinking outside the box with this colorway and executing with such great materials."

Ronnie says: "These aren't for everyone. I could see myself pulling these out of the closet in 15 years and wearing them, timeless."

Ronnie says: "This release represents the 1-year anniversary for Kith. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate."

6. RF x Puma Disc Blaze OG "Cove"

Ronnie says: "I love the Disc. Reworking the upper on a classic silhouette was truly an honor, the special in-store packaging was amazing and the future is looking bright for the brand."

Ronnie says: "These would be in my top two for the year if I didn't have two pairs from '08 on deck. Classic."

4. Nike Air Max 90 Infrared Hyperfuse

Ronnie says: "My favorite Nike Air Max souped up. So very clean, the Infrared colorway will never die. Ever."

3. Nike Lunar Flyknit HTM NRG

Ronnie says: "Most people don't know what HTM stands for. I do. Crack. This shoe will be remembered as one of the greatest in years to come. The Flyknit will only get stronger, and these started it all."

Ronnie says: "It was a big year for Kanye West."

Ronnie says: "Why? Hand woven, comfortable, black, Free sole, very rare, can dress up or down, easy to slip on or off (my go-to airport shoe). When Nike goes premium with NSW it's always amazing, but this is on another level."
