This week is packed with releases from various brands and boutiques that include updates to old classics, popular basketball models celebrating the Black Mamba, a handful of collabs, and even a Yeezy.
Releases kick off on Thursday when Sneakersnstuff drops its camo-covered Converse One Star collaboration. A new multicolored Nike LeBron XV and "Silver Bullet" rendition of the VaporMax 97 will also be hitting retailers.
On Friday, Nike celebrates Mamba Day with the debut of Kobe's new signature, the A.D. NXT 360, a black and gold Kobe I Protro, and a Kyrie 4 and PG 2 that take inspiration from Kobe's popular "Prelude" pack. Friday's releases do not stop there. A "Rose Gold" Air Jordan XI Low is dropping for the ladies, Concepts is releasing a Vans Old Skool inspired by New York City in the '70s, Adidas is introducing its newest iteration of the Ultra Boost constructed of Climacool fabric, and Undefeated and Adidas' extensive capsule inspired by tactical gear will also be arriving at select boutiques.
The releases conclude on Saturday with the global release of the "Blush" Adidas Yeezy 500, a limited drop of New Balance 990V4s inspired by the OG from 1982, the "Total Crimson" Air Max 98, Virgil Abloh's latest Off-White x Nike VaporMax, a Kobe I Protro inspired by one of his memorable playoff performances from 2006, and the return of the popular "Shadow" Air Jordan I.

What You Need to Know: Made from vintage indigo mud cloths from Mali, No One is releasing a new version of its Charlie sneaker that's limited to 16 pairs. Each pair is handmade in Los Angeles and is something for the sneaker connoisseur who's looking to add a high-end sneaker to their rotation that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Sneakersnstuff x Converse One Star

What You Need to Know: For its latest collaboration, Sneakersnstuff has linked with Converse to create two pairs of the popular One Star model. Each is covered in an all-over camouflage pattern. One sports a traditional woodland camo, while the other opts for a black, white, grey, and purple print. Solid white hits take care of the branding, laces, and midsole. To create the camo print, SNS chose to use a multi-layered construction that alternates between suede and leather panels.
Nike LeBron XV 'Four Horsemen'

What You Need to Know: Having already released in a white version, another multicolored Nike LeBron XV drops this week that swaps out the white hits for black. The same multicolored Battleknit is used across the upper. This pair is dubbed the "Four Horsemen" colorway as an homage to Bron's best friends. "LRMR" is stitched on one inner tongue to represent LeBron, Rich Paul, Maverick Carter and Ernie Ramos. The other inner tongue sports a horse's head.
Nike Air VaporMax 97 'Silver Bullet'

What You Need to Know: Nike brings the colorway most synonymous with the Air Max 97, the "Silver Bullet" colorway, to one of its latest VaporMax hybrid models. This VaporMax 97 mimics the OG color scheme, but replaces the 97's traditional bottom with a clear VaporMax bubble.
Nike Kobe A.D. NXT 360 'Mamba Day'

What You Need to Know: Kobe Bryant's newest Nike signature model releases this week on Mamba Day. This new silhouette helps to introduce Nike's new 360 Flyknit technology to the basketball category of footwear. The debut colorway features a black upper, icy blue outsole bearing an image of a green snake, red branding hits on the heel, and a holographic Swoosh.
Nike Kobe I Protro 'Mamba Day'

What You Need to Know: To celebrate Mamba Day, Nike will also be dropping a black and gold version of Kobe's first Nike signature. The Kobe I Protro features a more lightweight construction and updated cushioning compared to its predecessor. This colorway uses black tumbled leather along the upper with gold acting as a contrast on the Swoosh and tongue branding. The date of Mamba Day 2018 is also printed on the right heel in gold as well.
Nike Kyrie 4 'Mamba Mentality'

What You Need to Know: Along with two Kobe signatures, Nike is also celebrating Mamba Day with a special colorway of the Kyrie 4. This version of Irving's fourth signature takes slight inspiration from the "Prelude" Kobe V. The black-based upper sports a multi-colored pattern along the back portion, a purple heel, and gold branding. The mint green outsole is the most obvious aspect borrowed from the aforementioned Kobe V colorway.
Nike PG 2 'Mamba Mentality'

What You Need to Know: Paul George's PG 2 will also be dropping in a special colorway to celebrate Mamba Day 2018. Like the Kyrie 4, this pair is inspired by the "Prelude" pack. Using a more blatant reference, this PG 2 is inspired by the "Prelude" Kobe VI. It sports a purple upper, blue laces, highlighter yellow Swoosh branding, orange liner, and multicolored pattern along the heel area reminiscent of the one used across the upper of the "Prelude" Kobe VI.
Air Jordan XI Low GG 'Rose Gold'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is dropping a luxurious take on the Air Jordan XI Low exclusively in girls sizing. Rose gold nubuck dons the upper and a metallic bronze leather overlay takes the place of the model's usual patent leather panel. This pair is completed with a sail midsole and rose gold-tinted, translucent outsole.
Adidas Ultra Boost Clima

What You Need to Know: The Ultra Boost is arguably Adidas most popular silhouette at the moment and has been reintroduced to the market in multiple versions with minor tweaks to the overall DNA. The latest version of the silhouette, the Ultra Boost Clima, has been reconsturcted with a Climacool upper. The upper is composed of a breathable, open-weave knit stitched with sweat wicking yarn designed to keep your feet cool at all times. The usual plastic Three Stripes are also made of the Climacool fabric. To debut the Clima, Adidas has opted for a classic all black colorway complete with a blacked out Boost midsole.
Undefeated x Adidas Collection

What You Need to Know: Adidas has linked up with notable Los Angeles streetwear brand, Undefeated, to drop a 19-piece capsule inspired by tactical uniforms. Included in the offering will be three sneakers. The first is a black version of the Ultra Boost with large, white Undefeated branding on the midfoot. The other two pairs are the adiZero Adios 3 performance model. One is covered in a tan camo pattern and white Undefeated branding, while the other opts for a clean, black upper with tan Three Stripes. Unsurprisingly, all three pairs are cushioned with Adidas' Boost technology in the midsole.

Concepts x Vans Old Skool 'Forty Deuce'

What You Need to Know: Boston's Concepts boutique has created a Vans Old Skool dubbed the "Forty Deuce." This colorway is inspired by New York City culture in the 1970s, specifically Times Square and 42nd Street. Bleached denim is used on the side panels and cracked black leather makes up the rest of the upper. Concepts branding can be seen on the heels of each shoe.
Adidas Yeezy 500 'Blush'

What You Need to Know: Following an exclusive release in Los Angeles during 2018 NBA All Star Weekend back in February, the "Blush" Adidas Yeezy 500 is now getting a global launch. Tonal suede, leather, mesh, and nubuck make up this chunky "dad shoe" that borrows midsole tooling from the Adidas KB8 3. Like all Yeezys, expect these to be difficult to obtain this weekend.
New Balance 990V4 'Made in 1982'

What You Need to Know: To celebrate one of its most popular models, New Balance is dropping a limited run of the 990V4. This pair is inspired by the original colorway that dropped back in 1982 when it was the first $100 athletic sneaker. Grey pigskin suede and mesh compose the upper. Navy blue hits are used on the "N" logo branding, tongue, and heel embroidery. Only 1,500 pairs will be releasing through pop-up locations at seven participating U.S. retailers.
Nike Air Max 98 'Total Crimson'

What You Need to Know: Continuing its return to mark its 20th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 98 arrives this weekend in a wolf grey and total crimson color scheme. Light and dark shades of grey are used along the upper with a bright total crimson accenting the tongue, laces, branding hits, and 360-degree Air unit.
Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax 'White'

What You Need to Know: After releasing in black at the tail end of March, Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike Air VaporMax is arriving in a white version this weekend. This pair is identical in construction to the recently released black version, but swaps all of the black hits for a summer-ready white. As always, expect to see a handful of Abloh's signature detailing like "AIR" branding, dual-branded stamp on the medial portion, and red zip tie.
Nike Kobe I Protro 'Final Seconds'

What You Need to Know: This "Final Seconds" Kobe I Protro will be the first pair releasing from Nike's "Champions Think 16" pack. It covers Kobe's first Nike signature in a Lakers-inspired colorway with a white leather upper, purple accents, and yellow Swoosh branding. Perhaps the most appreciated detail on this pair is the PE-styled "8" stitched on the heel to represent Kobe's number from the early years of his career. The inspiration for this pair is the Black Mamba's performance against the Phoenix Suns in Game 4 of their 2006 NBA Playoffs matchup when he hit a game-winner to allow the Lakers to live another day in the series.
Air Jordan I 'Shadow'

What You Need to Know: One of the most popular colorways of the Air Jordan I, the "Shadow" makes its return for the first time since 2013. This retro remains consistent with the OG pair's familiar black and grey color blocking and also sports the OG "Nike Air" branding hit on the tongue.
