Nike's LeBron Watch rolls forward as a first look at an upcoming pair from the retro-inspired campaign has surfaced. This LeBron 16 is inspired by the classic Bo Jackson signature, the "Medicine Ball" Air Trainer 3.
A white Battleknit 2.0 upper is remixed to resemble the iconic OG colorway. Tweaks include perforated white leather on the tongue and heel, a navy blue leather Swoosh on the lateral side panel, forefoot strap, and additional overlays to help King James' 16th signature model further mimic Bo's trainer from the late '80s.
According to @street8oy on Instagram, this LeBron 16 is expected to hit Korean retailers on March 9. Information regarding a stateside launch has yet to be revealed. Stay tuned as more information becomes available and expect to see James lacing these up in the near future.
UPDATE (03/07): New images of the "Medicine Ball" Nike Air Trainer 3-inspired LeBron 16 have surfaced. According to US11 on Twitter, the special colorway is slated to launch on March 30.
