Nike Debuts Earned Edition NBA Uniforms

Nike has debuted yet another special set of NBA jerseys. Dubbed the Earned Edition uniforms, these alternates have been awarded to each of the 16 teams who made the 2017-18 NBA Playoffs. The new looks are plays on each team's Statement or City Edition designs with a different color scheme.

Select teams will be debuting their new options during this year's Christmas Day games. The remaining teams will begin to sport the jerseys shortly after. Any fans trying to purchase their favorite team's newest gear will get the opportunity on Dec. 19 when they release via nike.com, store.nba.com, and other official NBA retail partners.

Take a closer look at each team's Earned Edition jersey option below.

The Celtics' design puts a new spin on the franchise's classic clover green jerseys with yellow letters and numbers inspired by the warmup shirts of the dominant teams from the '80s.

Cleveland's Earned Edition jersey is inspired by the city's location right off of Lake Erie. A light blue, white, and navy blue color scheme is a nod to the city's icy winter weather.

The Pacers' new option continues to play on Indiana's love for racing. A white body is accented by yellow numbers and letters, as well as a navy blue race track design going down the left side. "Always Lead" is written above the bottom tag—a detail borrowed from the team's City Edition jersey.

By far the most vibrant Miami Vice-inspired color scheme, this Miami Heat jersey fully leans into its inspiration with a neon pink jersey, teal piping, and white lettering.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and company will be suiting up in this Earned Edition jersey inspired by Milwaukee's 2018 City Edition makeup. It features a white body, red lettering, "Bucks" written vertically on the left chest area, and a green patch on the right shoulder inspired by the team's official colors.

The product of The Process has been given a simplified white design with numbers at the center of the chest surrounded by a 13-star crest.

While Toronto's City Edition uniforms honor rap superstar Drake with a black and gold OVO color scheme, the Earned Edition uses the colors of the Canadian flag to represent the Six.

Nike used a classic red base for the Washington Wizards. Marble detailing on each side panel is inspired by the Washington Monument located in the nation's capital.

The defending NBA Champions will now have the option to rock their Statement Edition design in a classic gold and blue colorway.

P.J. Tucker will be given yet another option to pair his endless rotation of top-tier footwear with. The Rockets' latest jersey features a red base, white letters and numbers, and darker crimson red detailing borrowed from its City Edition uniforms.

A favorite among this year's crop of City Edition jerseys, the T'Wolves Purple Rain-inspired design to honor the late pop music icon Prince will now be offered in a white design as well.

The Pelicans use their City Edition design, but forgo the Mardi Gras-inspired color palette this time around in favor of the team's red, navy, and gold colors.

Russell Westbrook and Paul George will be dropping buckets in this bright orange jersey that borrows its cracked "OKC" logo on the chest from the Thunder's Statement Edition option.

The Trail Blazers' popular Rip City logo is used on a red base with a black slash cutting through the center. "Blazermania" is stitched above the jock tag to pay homage to the playoff atmosphere in the west coast city.

The Spurs will honor San Antonio's military history with an all-over white and grey camouflage print.

Nike was inspired by the team's 1979 road jerseys for this variation. A green base features yellow piping and the Jazz's original J-note logo front and center on the chest.
