Having dropped a full collection of technical apparel this past July, Alyx founder Matthew M. Williams is back to give a closer look at an upcoming project with Nike.
Originally seen on the runway at Paris Fashion Week this past June in an all-black iteration, Williams' has provided another glimpse at the prototype for a Nike sneaker via his Instagram account. The main feature worth noting is the large, Vibram outsole that appears to be an independent piece which is attached via straps. The white trail sole is contrasted by a black upper featuring a cord lacing system, semi-visible Nike Swoosh, zipper on the medial ankle, and dual branding on the midsole.
An official release date for the designer's upcoming collab has yet to be revealed.
