Acronym's Errolson Hugh Criticizes Nike's Photos For New ACG Apparel

Acronym's Errolson Hugh had some thought about a product image from his latest NikeLab collection of ACG apparel.

Acronym's Errolson Hugh has become big partner with Nike over the past few years. Not only have his reimagined Air Prestos and Air Force 1s been some of the more coveted collabs in recent memory, he has also had a hand in designing NikeLab's ACG apparel lines.

While the relationship appears to be largely positive, Hugh has taken issue with Nike's official product images for the latest ACG collection. Early Wednesday morning, Hugh took to Twitter to express his dismay.

"I mean you can spend months and do the best design in the world but then someone takes a photo of it like this. LOL," he said, singling out a particular photo from the launch. This isn't exactly an overreaction either. Although the ACG gear is advertised to be able to worn in multiple ways, backwards presumably isn't one of them. The picture in question shows the model wearing the vest with the hood up over her face. It seems like maybe Nike got wind of the blunder because the current page for the product no longer shows this photo.

Interested buyers can expect NikeLab's latest ACG line to release on Dec. 9, and range from $70-$700. Hugh's white-on-white take on his Lunar Force 1 collab from 2015 will also be dropping this Saturday, Dec. 2 for $200 via Nike SNKRS and other select retailers.
