Today is the second year that Nike has convinced the entire world — or at least those paying attention to social media — to wear Air Maxes. It's Air Max Day, and it's time to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the Air Max 1. Every year since then, Nike has produced a new Air Max model.

The sneakers have become a global phenomenon and each individual silhouette has a very specific, niche fan base. So much so that wearing an Air Max 90 or 97 or 93 makes a statement on what kind of sneakerhead you are. With today being the holiday and all, we thought we'd have a little fun.
