Summer has come and (nearly) gone, and everyone is prepping for fall. Which, to us, means getting our kick game proper and wearing the hell out of our sneakers before the snow falls and we're resigned to running around in boots all winter.

But let's not think about what February holds quite yet—there are plenty of hot sneaker releases scheduled for this fall, and the only problem is getting your money up to procure enough of them. With sneakers coming out every other day, it can be intimidating pinpointing which ones are worth your time and hard-earned dollars. We've racked our brains and scanned the plethora of previews, teasers, and leaked images to find out which kicks we're already drooling over. Air Jordan V "3LAB5"

Release date: September 21, 2013

Elephant print first debuted on the Air Jordan III, but the Air Jordan V is taking cues from its predecessor. This time it's gone all-over elephant print, and comes with a luxury price tag of $225. You'll have to pony up some cash to score these.

A$AP Rocky x Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings “Black Flag”

Release date: September 28, 2013

A$AP Rocky and Jeremy Scott have been buds since Rocky was telling us that everything was purple. Since those days, their friendship has grown and has resulted in a pair of JS Wings. Sneakerheads, hip-hop fans, and style enthusiasts will all be fighting to get their mitts on a pair of these all-black, ballistic mesh fly kicks. Let your black flag fly.

Nike Roshe Run Suede

Release date: October 2013

The Nike Roshe Run got plenty of play this summer, and while you're putting the airy runners in the back of your closet, this suede version is ready to meet the brisk winds that fall will bring. But it's still lightweight with just enough mesh.

A departure from the rough looks of the Parachute Gold LeBron XIs, the Armory Slate/Gamma Blue make-up is much flashier and an attention-grabbing sneaker. Will you have enough cash to cop both?

Release date: September 20, 2013

Timberland boots and Patrick Ewing will forever run the emotions of New Yorkers. Combine both of those elements, and the Ewing Guard in a wheat color scheme will be stomping through the wicked city streets this fall.

Release date: November 29, 2013

Shaquille O'Neal was born and raised in Brick City—Newark, N.J., a city that's as tough as the moniker it goes by. Luckily, Shaq made his way out of the deadly New Jersey city, but he's still got love for where he's from. The grey, black, and red Shaq Attaqs are going to crush the block this fall.

Nike Air Max 1 "Black/Anthracite/Volt"

Release date: October 2013

Black, grey, and neon have a storied lore in the history of the Nike Air Max line, starting with the Air Max 95. If you can't enough of this color scheme, Nike placed it on a pair of Air Max 1s, the runner that started the Air Max line in '87.

Sneaker Freaker x Puma Blaze of Glory Round II

Release date: Late 2013

Sneaker Freaker is a go-to source if you want to be up on runners and rare sneaker news. In 2007, the publication made 30 pairs each of two friends-and-family-only Puma Blaze of Glorys that were made of shark skin. Yes, real shark skin. If you missed out the first time around, you have a chance of scooping these once-in-a-lifetime sneakers later this year.

New Balance 999 "Mid Grey"

All-grey New Balance sneakers are a definite for anyone's rotation. If you've beat up your 574s or 993s, give these 999s a go this fall. Just imagine these with a pair of navy chinos, too dope.

Are the Thermal Map Foamposites hot? It's up for the consumers to decide. But if these follow recent Foamposite releases, these will go quick.

Air Jordan V "Bel Air"

Release date: October 5, 2013

Will Smith, as the Fresh Prince, was known to wear the Air Jordan V, along with a ton of bright clothing. Jordan Brand dug into the brand's cultural past, and put together a sneaker the resembles Smith's attire back in the day.

The Tannery x New Balance 998

Release date: Late 2013

Not much is known about The Tannery x New Balance 998s, except that they're top-notch. But take this tidbit: The Tannery is a footwear and clothing store in Cambridge, Mass. and Boston that gave birth to Concepts. Is it any surprise that they designed one of the best New Balances this year for its 40th anniversary?

éS Accel

Release date: December 2013

The éS Accel is the quintessential '90s skate shoe, and it's finally being re-released. For now, however, it's going to be a Japan-only release. If you can actually get your hands on a pair, these will be some low-key gems.

Sneakers that come in navy, purple, and turquoise suede are things of runner geek's dreams. Fortunately, BAIT and ASICS are making this fantasy a reality, and they're doing it on a pair of GEL Sagas.

Nike KD VI "Precision Timing"

Release date: December 7, 2013

A quality watch stays on point through its precision and accuracy of movements. Those attributes are very similar to Kevin Durant's game and shot. Using this metaphor, Nike laced up a pair of KD VIs in a make-up befitting of a timepiece.

Nike LeBron XI "Parachute Gold"

Release date: October 12, 2013

Good news: Foamposite is back on the LeBron's signature series with Nike. But unlike the LeBron IV, the XI isn't heavy as a tank—even though it looks like an armored car. The Parachute Gold color scheme gives this version of the sneaker a military appearance, and makes LeBron ready to go to battle on the hardwood this season.

Extra Butter x ASICS GEL Saga "Cottonmouth"

Sneaker releases can get crazy. Some even deadly. But the only thing that should be killing it is your footwork. Long Island's Extra Butter based a pack of ASICS off five deadly snakes, and the Cottonmouth version is done up on a pair of GEL Sagas. The purple front half of these sneakers set it off and are complemented by a white heel. Either way, they're pure flames.

Limited Edt x Reebok Classic Leather

The Reebok Classic Leather has enjoyed a resurgence this year, and the fun doesn't stop this fall. Singapore's Limited Edt has given the throwback runners a chameleon paint job and an icy sole along with plenty of pink. Too cold.

Nike Zoom Flight '98 "The Glove"

Release date: October 5, 2013

Gary Payton was known for his tough defense and over-the-top, trash-talking personality. His signature sneaker, the Nike Zoom Flight '98, is on its way back. You won't be able to lock people down like Payton, but at least you'll have his kicks.

Nike KD VI "Texas"

Release date: October 10, 2013

Kevin Durant did his thing at the University of Texas (for a year), and while the only discussion swirling around UT these days is whether Mack Brown is going to be fired or not, this color scheme of KD's signature sneaker will take Longhorn fans' minds off the mess that is their football team.

Nike Lunar Flyknit Chukka "Purple and Orange"

Mid-top running sneakers are better when it gets a little colder outside. The Nike's Lunar Flyknit Chukkas were fresh this summer, but even more appropriate this fall. Especially when they come in a darker purple with just enough orange to pop through the upper. Go up a half size for those heavier socks though.

The Maison Martin Margiela x Converse collaboration has a layer of hand-applied paint that cracks and chips away over time, making each pair as unique and individual as the person who wears it. Each are available in four different colors, and both styles feature luxe leather lining.

They're back. The Air Jordan Vs that paid tribute to Michael Jordan's high school, Laney High School, are ready to return. Blue and yellow kicks don't exactly scream "fall," but now that the Laneys are on their way, you better believe we're getting a pair. (Black Laneys? Hmmmm, maybe.)

Release date: Soon

We hoped the Air Max 93 would come back, and size? answered our call. In an upcoming issue of Sneaker Freaker, the UK retailer previewed its turquoise runners that we are praying release soon.
