The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” is on its way back, and it looks like Nike is giving people a chance to buy it before the shoe officially comes out. The sneaker, which first released in 2006 as a retro plus model and came back in 2012, should arrive via a shock drop on SNKRS ahead of its May 13 release date.

The details on the early release aren’t firm yet, but expect an early shock drop in the next week, followed by a wider release in May. Nike hinted at the early release on Friday with a poll on SNKRS, much in the same vein of the coming Air Jordan 1 “Lost and Found” restock that was suggested in the app earlier this week.
The “Thunder” Air Jordan 4 is a black/yellow sneaker that was originally part of a three-shoe series with the yellow/ black “Lightning” 4s and white/black/yellow “Tour Yellow” 4s.
