There are few sneakers with more historical importance than the Air Jordan 1, which first released in 1985. Some argue that it's the model that was the Genesis of sneaker culture as we know it. It's not impossible to track down a pair that released 30 years ago, but finding most of the colorways to hit retail is a daunting task. One man was able to assemble a quite impressive collection, and he's documented it for the world to see.

Dylan Ratner has amassed 22 different pairs of original Air Jordan 1s, with everything from Highs to Lows to KOs. On his Instagram page, Ratner posted a group photo and said, "COMPLETE 1985 Air Jordan 1 set. These are all of the released pairs from 1985, along with the white/grey and white/blue AJKOs which are questionable (possibly samples). Thanks to all who have helped me track down pairs. Mission complete!"

He was also able to take individual shots of most of the sneakers, too, which are ogle-worthy in their own right. It's this type of dedication that makes sneaker culture the exciting pocket that it is. Take a look at all the crackled leather, yellowed soles, and greatness below.
