Nike has been hooking up the UConn women's basketball team with PE sneakers all season, and now they made a special pair to celebrate the team's 11th national title. Despite the team getting Nike KD 8 Elites for the tournament, the Swoosh decided to make this celebratory pair on the regular version of the sneaker.
This sneaker sports the school's white, red, and blue colorway, and adds special gold accents throughout. The gold is utilized on the Swoosh, KD logo on the tongue, and "National Champs" engraving on the inside of the tongue. To finish this special edition sneaker off, Nike added an "11" on the back of each heel. Expect the team to get laced in even more PE sneakers next season when they try to win their 5th straight title.
