The Nike Air Huarache is having itself a solid year filled with all-new colorways and even original iterations that only a select few might actually remember. Not only have the low-profile runners made a comeback, but the high-top variations are also being reissued in super O.G. colorways.
The Air Trainer Huarache "Dark Emerald" first dropped in 1992. The Eric Avar and Tinker Hatfield-designed product was a follow-up effort to the Air Huarache runner and hoops-centric Air Flight Huarache. The sneaker utilized similar elements and properties, but was specifically designed with cross-training in mind.
The biggest difference from its Flight Huarache predecessor was the addition of the mid-foot strap for ultimate lockdown. Paired with an inner sleeve, a white leather base, and striking accent colors throughout, the Air Trainer Huarache would go on to follow the same game-changing path as the Huarache runners.
