Jordan V "Fire Red/White-Black"

Release: 8/31/2013

Inspired by a fighter jet, the Air Jordan V will retro next week in the "Fire Red" colorway. White takes hold of the majority of the upper, leaving the Fire Red liner and midsole to accent the silhouette. Denim season is back, pop that 3M tongue.

Nike LeBron XI "Parachute Gold"

Release: 10/12/2013

Armed with Armorposite (see what we did there), the next stage in the LeBron James signature series is set to hit the courts of the world on November 12. From what we have heard, this Parachute Gold colorway will be the first to drop and will be the first chance we get to see how these perform. Here's hoping they play as well as the LeBron X.

adidas D Howard 4

Release: 11/1/2013

Now that everyone is over the fact that Dwight left Los Angeles for Houston, let's change the focus to his new shoe. adidas Basketball introduced these about a month ago and we like the new direction. Though still made for Dwight's size, the model has taken some design hints from the Crazyquick series which should technically make it more agile on the court.

Air Jordan V "Bel Air"

Release: 10/5/2013

This is a story all about how the Air Jordan V took a trip to Bel Air. Often seen on the TV screen on the feet of Will Smith, this version of the Air Jordan V takes some color inspiration from the theme of Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It is definitely a colorful take on the classic Jordan color blocking, but we don't mind it at all.

Nike Air Griffey Max One PRM "Safari"

Release: 9/7/2013

If we were being biased, we would say that you can't go wrong with Safari print on anything. With that being said, the look of the Safari print on the latest verison of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 looks nice. Hopefully, you Safari "purists" can get over yourselves and let this premium version of the Griffey Max 1 be great.

Norse Projects x New Balance M1500NO1 "Danish Weather Pack"

Release: 8/26/2013

Quality made and fresh out the box, New Balance links with Norse Projects for a special delivery on the M1500. Expected to hit Caliroots, the English-made model pairs premium mesh with nubuck and suede on the upper over soft blue and grey hues. Luckily, you hypebeasts won't be checking for these and they will be an easy cop for us. Um, right?

Nike LeBron X Low "Raspberry Red"

Release: 9/7/2013

LeBron James showed us he is already in the gym getting ready for next season, but that doesn't mean Nike has left the LeBron X behind. In this case, it is the LeBron X Low in a mostly raspberry red upper that has caught our eye. The addition of the neon green outsole balances with the upper very well and allows the royal purple accents to #flourish. We just wish they kept the full-length Zoom in the Lows.

Nike Air Foamposite One "Weatherman Red"

Release: 9/28/2013

Said to represent the constant pounding of a soaking thunderstorm, the "Red" colorway in the Nike Air Foamposite One "Weatherman Pack" is causing a bit of an uproar in the community. Some people love it, while others are confused by its appearance. We think they are definitely unique and respresent a new stage of development in the life of the Nike Air Foamposite One.

Nike KD VI "Bamboo"

Release: 9/14/2013

Nike and Kevin Durant took the summer very seriously in 2013, but that doesn't mean it is the end of the KD VI. Saving a little something extra for fall, Nike is giving the shoe a "Bamboo" make over. The inspiration is built on the time it takes for bamboo to fully mature, something we have been able to witness on the court with the growth of Kevin Durant.

Reebok Shaq Attaq "Black/Azure Blue"

Release: 8/30/2013

Earlier this year, Reebok Classics dropped the white version of the Shaq Attaq, and now we get a look at the Black/Azure Blue version. We've debated a bit in the office about which version we like best, and let's just say neither one wins decisively. For those that like the "away" look, this Reebok Shaq Attaq will be hitting retailers next week.

Nike Air Foamposite One "Weatherman Blue"

Release: 8/30/2013

The popularity of Foamposites has exploded in recent years, which has allowed Nike Sportswear to get more creative with the way the shoes are presented. For the latest batch of Foamposites, Nike is going with a printed upper that allows a graphic print as opposed to the usual solid color. For the Weatherman Pack, what better way to show that the Foamposites reign than with a Doppler print?

Under Armour has been making tremendous strides when it comes to footwear. Their performance lines are gettting better and better, and the Spawn Anatomix is the next step in their evolution. According to DeAndre Jordan, they are the best UA shoe he has played in thus far.

Air Jordan 1 "Highlight Reel"

Release: 9/07/2013

Jordan Brand has given the Air Jordan 1 a lot of love this year, and it looks to continue with the release of a very familiar colorway of the silhouette. Rocking black and gym red at the base, the model is accented with university gold over the Nike Swoosh and the wings logo. Fortunately, we will not have to wait for long as these drop in just a few weeks.

Reebok Court Victory Pump "Crayfish"

Release: 8/29/2013

Most of us know them as crawfish, but if you are Norwegian, you call them crayfish. We aren't here to judge on what they really should be called, but we do like the way they inspired this Reebok Court Victory Pump. Big shoutout to SneakersNStuff for another amazing collab.

Nike Kobe 8 "Pit Viper"

Spotted early last week at the Drew League, the Kobe 8 "Pit Viper" takes on Green Glow over the Swoosh and liner to create a very unique look. Not to mention, the purple upper with the scales looks great over the Engineered Mesh.
