The brand’s creative director reimagined the classic basketball shoe, transforming it into a luxe new icon for the fashion house. Though recognizable classic basketball elements remain, Dior’s new D-Player Sneaker is a totally novel, high-quality take that’ll instantly turn heads.
And it’s easy to see why. Not only does the D-Player feature a flexible, lightweight sole, it also boasts remarkable design details like a quilted nylon upper, patent leather that hits throughout the shoe, and “CHRISTIAN DIOR” branding at the heel. There’s even a star on the EVA outsole, a nod to Dior’s lucky symbol.
