Hit the jump for the top 10 kicks for the week of May 17-21, including the new Supra Skytop "Wino", New Balance 574 "3M", Nike Air Max 24-7 "Neon," and the highly anticipated Air Jordan 6 Retro "Infrared Pack."
Converse Sea Star Ox
Sporting a classic boat-shoe-like shape and suede construction, the Converse Sea Star Ox returns this season in two new colorways. With its simple design and clean white outsole, this sophisticated low-top is perfect for any occasion, casual or formal. Make sure a pair of these ends up in your closet this summer. Available now at SDS.
Gourmet Quadici
Gourmet has announced plans to release two new colorways for their Quadici model for Fall/Winter 2010. Soon to be available in either dark green or black, the Quadici is a unique hybrid-like sneaker that combines elements from running shoes, rain boots, and chukka-style sneakers to create a one-of-a-kind look. The muted, tonal colorways are also a good look for when sunglasses and shorts will be replaced by raincoats and umbrellas.
Supra Skytop "Wino"
If you've been dying to get your hands on a pair of canvas Skytops but missed your chance with the "Heartbreakers," Supra has got you covered with the new "Wino" Skytop. For this release, the always popular Skytop silhouette gets updated with an all-black canvas upper, waxed shoe laces, and a textured outsole. What really sets these off is the sick gum sole. Get them now at your local Supra stockists.
Vans Vault Home Skool Lo LX
Vans Vault has really been on point lately and its latest release continues to impress us. Dubbed the "Home Skool Lo LX," this new model comes in two colorways and features a tonal leather upper. The quality materials used in its construction and its toe-capped design really help to create a premium look that's great for spring/summer. These are definitely one of our favorite Vans Vault releases to date. Both colors are available now at all Vault accounts.
Nike Air 180 ND Black/Blue/Purple
You can't slap a popular Jordan colorway on just anything, but so far it's been working for the Air Max 180. Whether you want to call these the "Grapes" or the "Aquas," there's no doubt that these Nike Air Max 180s are dope. With their jet-black upper and eye-catching colorway, we fully expect these to make a killing just like the Air Max 180 Infrared that hit the web last week. Get them now from U.K.'s End Clothing.
Supra EE Avenger
It looks like everyone is trying to get a piece of the Jordan action lately. Luckily, Supra and Erik Ellington's re-creation of the iconic Air Jordan 4 is done right. Available in both all-white and black/red, the Supra EE Avenger may look like a basketball shoe, but upon closer inspection, its skate-tuned aspects begin to stand out. A great overall sneaker from both a design and a function standpoint. Look out for a release this week via all Supra retailers.
New Balance 575 "3M Pack"
While the 574 isn't New Balance's most popular model, it certainly has been one of the most talked-about recently, with releases such as the "Pinnacle" and the "Sonic Weld Pack." Following in the footsteps of these highly anticipated releases, New Balance has just dropped the "3M Pack," which features seven 3M-infused designs. From suede to leather and mesh accents to reflective croc, this pack has a little something for everyone.
Nike SB Dunk Low - "Koston"
When you combine one of the world's greatest skateboarders with one of the world's greatest footwear manufacturers, magic is bound to happen. However, it seems like the Nike SB Dunk High "Koston" has been getting all the love lately while the low-top version has gotten overlooked. These may not be at the level of the early pro-model releases of SB, but definitely a dope sneaker nonetheless. Don't sleep.
Nike Air Max 24-7 "Neon"
A hybrid that blends elements from some of the best running shoes in the past 20 years AND one of the most iconic colorways of all time in one package? This has winner written all over it. A definite must-have for any serious collector.
Air Jordan 6 Retro "Infrared Pack"
Finally, after months of anticipation and speculation, we have learned that the Air Jordan 6 "Infrared Pack" will officially hit the U.S. on June 19th. Originally rumored to be an Asia exclusive, American sneakerheads can rejoice in the fact that they can get their hands on this dope two-pack. Better get your money together and start calling your hook-ups now, because these are sure to go fast.
