Etonic is once again looking to revitalize their brand and move into the modern era, this time by teasing an upcoming collaboration with luxury retailer Barney’s New York.
Earlier this year, Etonic brought back the Akeem the Dream, the brands signature shoe for Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon. This time around, Etonic is going the high fashion route by collaborationg with Barneys New York on a fresh pair of runners. The shoes appear to be done in a purple, orange and grey base with finished off with a gum bottom. This isn't the only pair Barneys and Etonic's have in the works, as another teaser photo shows the branding on the insole with a red inner liner. Between the two brands, there's over 250 years of heritage so it could lead to a rather interesting partnership.
