PUMA and SONRA have connected to drop a beautifully crafted and one-of-a-kind PUMA Suede.
To celebrate 50 years of the iconic PUMA Suede, the sneaker giants are dropping a series of limited-edition Suedes and the latest in that series sees them connect with sneaker brand SONRA, fronted by Berlin-based style aficionado and designer Hikmet Sugoer.
SONRA is a brand powered by sustainability and its an ethos that Hikmet has carried into this collaboration with PUMA. The PUMA x SONRA Suede is refreshed with organic materials featuring a textured Formstrip and leather upper in naturally tanned Green Lily colorway. Made in Europe and inspired by intricate Turkish carpet design, the street shoes are handcrafted to create a comfy-but-luxe look.
Further demonstrating a commitment to both form and function, “Yiprat” – a Turkish word for ‘wear down’ – is mirror-printed on the soles, signifying that shoes are meant to be worn and not just displayed on the shelf.
The PUMA x SONRA Suede is available now at Hanon and select retailers.
