Worldwide Wednesday: The 10 Hottest Philadelphia Women

No disrespect to Rangers and Giants fans, but can we go ahead and start this Yankees-Phillies World Series already? Last year, in honor of the NY-Philly Series, we hosted our own matchup of the two cities' hottest women. This year, in anticipation of another epic Fall Classic (sorry San Fran and Dallas), we're getting in the mood with a new and improved roster of the 10 hottest Philadelphia women. Just call it the City of Sisterly Love.

Claim to fame: Linda Fiorentino's cult-classic and modern film noir roles put her contemporary colleague's resumes to shame. From her roles in The Last Seduction to Men In Black to Dogma, anyone who experienced puberty in the '90s would recognize her importance to the generation. Now, if only Hollywood realized the same and quit handing her C-list movies, i.e. her latest film, Once More With A Feeling.

Claim to fame: With her second pop-rock album, M!ssundaztood, Pink marked her departure from her original R&B image. She even took shots at L.A. Reid in "Don't Let Me Get Me." Since then, she's had enough successes to put out her most recent Greatest Hits...So Far!!! album. Yes, fortunately, she didn't get dropped from her label after those shots; maybe it's because she looks like she'd beat someone's ass.

Claim to fame: As the saying goes, you are the company you keep. So that means Amanda must be cool as hell. The Philly-based rapper's crew includes Spank Rock, Diplo, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Santigold, all of whose influence you can hear in her most recent record I Love You. So if you were blankin' on this girl to begin with, you just weren't down enough. Sorry.

Claim to fame: Despite her sparkly Dancing with the Stars trophy and 1997 Playboy "Playmate of the Month" issue, she will forever be known as General Hospital's hottest gold-digger, Sam McCall. Oh, and by "forever," we meant that literally. Seriously, the girl has been on the show for over 755 episodes.

Claim to fame: You can tell who her O.G. fans are by the reaction you get from people when you accidentally call her "Santogold." "Um, like, it's Santigold!" say the bandwagon fans. In truth, the artist changed her name when a wrestler with a chair up his butt threatened to sue her for having the same name. Yep, people would've known that if they bought her first and only album so far, entitled Santogold.

Claim to fame: Musically, we haven't heard much from the first lady of the Ruff Ryders. The closest she's come to anything music-related recently was probably her guest stint on Glee as a rival club director. We hope you can understand why we missed that one, E.

Claim to fame: Since she intimidated the manhood out of us in Coyote Ugly, Bello's softened her image and shaped herself an impressively reputable filmography, which now includes Thank You For Smoking, Grown Ups, and this year's much-talked about film, The Company Men.

Claim to fame: As the L of TLC, she and the girls dropped music that transcended the hard-and-fast boundaries of genres during the '90s, and left a legacy that has yet to be matched by any other girl group to this day. Not only did the music world lose a treasure upon her death, but an entire generation did too.

Claim to fame: Kat Dennings is a challenge to white girl hipster stereotypes in Hollywood. Oh, sweet relief! Dare we say the Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist actress is a Christina Hendricks in training? We'll just see how she matures, starting with her upcoming role as Darcy in next year's Thor.

Claim to fame: Philly must be so proud to lay claim to Kanye's former muse. Her full, statuesque figure and bold look stands in stark contrast with other chicks in the socialite scene, let alone the modeling game. Despite the fact that her fame was founded upon the successes of others, she's single now and her name still rings bells with any heterosexual male.
