Flight Club is a worldwide destination for rare sneakers and pairs people slept on. The shop's walls are infamously filled with cellophane-wrapped sneakers, and, of course, plenty of heat.

Back in 2011, Concepts honored its Massachusetts’ roots by paying tribute to the state’s well-known sailing traditions. Borrowing inspiration from nautical culture, “The Kennedy” receives its cues from various flags and signposts. A size 10 recently docked at Flight Club.
Nike SB Dunk Low

Back in 2009, while people queued to catch Concepts’ “Blue Lobster” collaboration with Nike SB, the Boston-based brand blessed a few folks with an immensely rare “Yellow Lobster” rendition. Rumored to be limited to just 36 pairs, distributed mostly to Friends & Family, it remains one of the rarest pairs SBs to ever surface.

Introduced nearly a decade ago as part of Nike’s “Powerwall” at select Niketown locations, this Air Max 1 BRS is an homage to Nike’s Blue Ribbon Sports history. Despite Dwight Howard’s claim as the NBA’s modern, post-Shaq Man of Steel, this “Superman Red” Zoom LeBron III PE sample was inspired by James’ on-court abilities. There’s no phone booth around, but if you wear a 13, you can step into Flight Club for these now.

Sometimes rare just doesn’t describe something sufficiently. It’s believed that only 24 pairs were produced and distributed within Nike and to people within the Iron Maiden family. To even see a pair is an accomplishment. But if you’re a size 9, and really into the UK-based heavy metal band, you can weigh the pros and cons of owning it.
Air Jordan VII Retro

Released in 2008, this colorful Air Jordan VII Retro serves as a tribute to late Spanish artist Joan Miró, effectively fusing his work with the sneaker Michael Jordan wore during the ’92 Olympics in Miró’s native Barcelona.

It’s kind of exciting when a sneaker hits and no one saw it coming. This bright, all-pink Air Max 90 released in grade-school sizes earlier this summer, without any new running tech fused into it, and it simply popped. Maybe it’s the vivid color scheme, or its substantial leather upper, but the sneaker has been in a revolving door at Flight Club.
