Few sneakers have the type of longevity and all-around appeal like the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star, constantly reworked and re-envisioned to take on a new persona each time. Converse takes the iconic sneaker and presents it in three new tonal color offerings in both Hi and Ox form. Coming in yellow, black and purple, the VP Upside-Mono versions as they're called feature a beefed-up tongue and ankle, with the rubber toecaps made to match the respective uppers. Metal eyelets, tonal rubber side patches and the classic white vulcanized sole were all that was needed to complete this release. Not sure if these will make it stateside, but they're available now from Converse Japan. [via Converse Japan]
