Official product images for a new colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 Protro has leaked.
The latest offering for Kobe Bryant's fourth signature Nike sneaker is styled in a black-based upper that incorporates a woven material with leather overlays that mimic the body of a snake. Both the tongue logo and Swoosh feature a split Aurora Green and University Gold color combination, which may be inspired by the color palettes of the Charlotte Hornets that drafted Bryant in 1996 and the team that he would eventually play for, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Nike has yet to officially confirm the release date surrounding this latest Zoom Kobe 4 Protro.
UPDATE (10/28): Nike has confirmed that this new iteration of the Kobe 4 Protro is inspired by the original "Fade to Black" Nike Kobe pack that honored Kobe Bryant's final season in the NBA. The shoe drops on the SNKRS app and at select Nike Basketball retailers on Nov. 2 for a $175 price tag.
