Not only is the “Gold Bullet” Nike Air Max 97 returning to stores in 2023, we’re also learning that the original “Silver Bullet” colorway of the classic running shoe is coming back.

Pictured here are the official Nike product images of the forthcoming “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97 retro courtesy of @Solelinks on Twitter. It’s only fitting that Nike is re-issuing this iconic style as the silhouette is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. This forthcoming release is a straightforward retro starting with a metallic silver upper as well as hits of red on the various Swoosh logos throughout the silhouette. Capping off the look is a full-length Max Air cushioning unit in the midsole.

There are currently no release details available for this year’s “Silver Bullet” Nike Air Max 97 retro but we’ll update you as we learn more about the release.

UPDATE (11/07): Nike confirms that this year’s “Silver Bullet” Nike Air Max 97 retro will hit retail on Nov. 11 via SNKRS for $185. Grab an official look at the shoe below.
