Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell’s historic performance earlier this week against the Chicago Bulls has led to Adidas giving his current signature shoe a huge discount.
The sportswear brand and Mitchell announced on Instagram yesterday that all styles of the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 are available now for $71 as a nod to him scoring 71 points Monday, a game in which he also had 11 assists and eight rebounds in 49 minutes of play.
In addition to slashing prices on the model, Adidas has also confirmed it will donate $71,000 from sales of the D.O.N. Issue #4 to Mitchell’s Spidacares Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides resources that positively impact families in underserved communities.
All adult versions of the Adidas D.O.N. Issue #4 are available now at Adidas.com for a retail price of $71. At the time of writing, Adidas has not confirmed how long the savings will remain active.
