It turns out that the recently leaked Air Jordan 6 Low isn’t the only style that Jordan Brand is releasing for Chinese New Year in 2022. There’s also a limited iteration of the Air Jordan 1 joining the festivities.
The official Nike product images reveal that the latest “Chinese New Year” Air Jordan 1 Low features tiger stripes on the upper along with tiger graphics on the heel tabs that play to the “Year of the Tiger” theme. The rest of the shoe dons a light brown color scheme that’s combined with black accents, while an all-over tiger graphic covers the footbed.
According to @zSneakerheadz, this “Chinese New Year” Air Jordan 1 Low is scheduled to release on Dec. 30 at select Jordan Brand retailers in the Asia Pacific region followed by a global launch in February 2022. The pair is rumored to be limited to 5,000 units and each pair is individually numbered. Check back soon to Sole Collector for official updates.
