Gary Aspden and Adidas will soon release a limited edition Blackburn Spezial as part of their forthcoming Fall/Winter '19 range that will go towards a great cause.
According to Aspden, the Blackburn Spezial model is the latest addition to the brand’s "City Series" and is named after the town where he grew up in. This "Nightsafe" color scheme is inspired by the Red Rose of Lancashire, which is the county flower of Lancashire, England. The pair dons a green suede upper that's paired with red leather Three Stripes branding on the side and on the heel. Capping off the look is a navy blue outsole.
Only 200 pairs of the Blackburn Spezial "Nightsafe" will be available exclusively at the adidas Spezial exhibition in Lancashire for £100 (app. $123) with all of the proceeds going towards the nightsafebwd charity to fight youth homelessness in Blackburn. An official release date has yet to be announced by Aspden and Adidas but stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates in the coming weeks.
