It's Thursday Night Football and Robert Griffin III is making it a memorable night, debuting his first-ever signature football cleat with adidas. The camouflage colorway is in honor of the men and women serving in the US military, as Griffin has partnered with adidas to benefit the Operational Renewed Hope Foundation, a Veteran-led organization that provides quality housing to America's homeless veterans.
As a son of two sergeants in the United States Army, this specific cleat is very important to Griffin. "Everyone who knows my history knows that I'm a military kid. My parents put in a combined 34 years of service. To have a cleat that represent not only the military, but what my parents gave me and my sisters, is truly an honor."
A limited number of the RGIII gift boxes will be released on Veteran's Day for $1,111, available on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtags #BUY #The RGIII together via Chirpify. The RGIII signature will be available in stores April 1 but stay tuned for more information concerning early launches and product details.
