Remember the Wale x Villa x Saucony collaboration teased in March? Teaser images will have to suffice for anyone who was hoping to one day own a pair—the shoe won't be releasing due to legal issues surrounding its design.
The pair, inspired by the Penn Relays, drew the ire of the University of Pennsylvania. Specifically, the school took issue with the similarity between the mark on the shoe's tongue (seen below) and its "P" logo.
While this sneaker won't ever make it to the hands of the public, there's good news for fans of Wale and Villa: the two are working on another project set to launch this summer.
