While the Half Cab certainly isn't the most buzzing Vans model at the moment, it's without a doubt one of the brand's most important sneakers of all time. Vans recognizes that with this new duo honoring the shoe's 25th birthday.
The two sneakers come in grey and black, respectively, with pig suede uppers, silver details, and embroidered "XXV" text on the heels.
These pairs deviate from the originals in that they feature tech modifications like Vans' UltraCrush HD sockliner and DuraCap underlays.
The Half Cab, a pro model for tenured Vans skater Steve Caballero, began as a higher sneaker, and only morphed into this form as pairs were cut down in DIY fashion.
These two anniversary versions of the Vans Half Cab are available at select retailers now.
