When is the next retro for the Nike Air Bakin', that wavy style from 1997 associated with Tim Hardaway? There's no news about a release around the corner for now, but there is a bizarre alternative available for ladies.

The offending shoe, created by Jeffrey Campbell, is officially called the Stark Hidden Wedge Platform and will run shoppers $200 at Nordstrom.

BOY, JEFFREY CAMPBELL ABSOLUTELY TRIED IT... pic.twitter.com/MJA4YofciN

While the sneaker is obviously derivative of Nike's Air Bakin', it feels unlikely that the Swoosh will take any legal action over this copycat.

The Nike Air Bakin' was infamously a controversial design at its debut thanks to the Arabic-looking script on back resembling the word "Allah."
