The Acronym x NikeLab Air Force 1 debuts on Wednesday, with a launch at 21 Mercer in New York City planned for 6 p.m. While Nike hasn't said anything about a wider launch, its silence matching that from the rollout plan of the last Acronym x Nike collab, that's coming soon.
The NikeLab website has a story on the shoes suggesting that they'll release online as well. What's more, boutique sneaker shops have confirmed that they'll have the shoes: Union in Los Angeles promised a Feb. 9 release on Twitter and then deleted it, and Sneakersnstuff has the same date listed.
Acronym already had a surprise release of the sneakers, putting pairs up for sale on its website on Feb. 6.
This Acronym x Nike sneaker has existed in sample form since 2015. The shoe has an extra-high collar featuring a German mil-spec fastener and a brass zipper on the medial side.
